Using Themes on PPC2000 Devices
Review the following instructions on how to install themes onto your device.
- Be sure to RIGHT-click on an image to download a Pocket PC Theme to your desktop.
- Then use ActiveSync to transfer the .tsk file to your device.
- Place it in the My Documents or Windows folder.
- Then click Start > Settings > Today and select the theme you want.
- Then click OK to view the new theme on your Today screen.
Attention: USUALLY, Themes will ONLY work on Pocket PC devices loaded with Pocket PC 2002, HOWEVER, there is some new software, currently in beta form that will allow those with Pocket PC 2000 devices to use Pocket PC 2002 theme on their units. No word yet on the cost of this software. Before trying out this software, be sure to BACKUP your data, just in case. PocketRocketFX.com has successfully tested this software quite extensively on Casio e115/125. Look for a future review on this site.
